Repeat Customer Revenue Share
Repeat customer revenue share is the proportion of revenue generated by customers who have purchased from the business before.
Repeat customer revenue share is the proportion of revenue generated by customers who have purchased from the business before. A lawn maintenance provider might divide repeat-customer revenue by total revenue for the same month or year and express the result as a percentage. The business must define what qualifies as a repeat customer and reconcile revenue data consistently. A higher share can reflect strong ongoing relationships, but it may also mean fewer new customers are arriving. This differs from customer retention rate, which tracks customers rather than dollars, and repeat booking rate, which tracks bookings. Examine profitability and service capacity before drawing growth conclusions.
