Repeat Booking Rate
Repeat booking rate measures the share of customers who make another booking after an initial service within a defined time window.
Repeat booking rate measures the share of customers who make another booking after an initial service within a defined time window. It can be useful for lawn maintenance, recurring cleaning, or seasonal services where customers commonly schedule work more than once. Businesses should specify whether a recurring subscription automatically creates bookings and whether rescheduled visits count as new bookings. The metric is different from customer retention rate, which may use a broader definition of an active relationship. It is also affected by service type: a one-time repair should not be judged by the same expected frequency as weekly cleaning. Reliable tracking connects appointments to the same customer without inflating counts through duplicate records.
