Website Project Milestones

Website project milestones are agreed checkpoints that show whether a website build is progressing as planned. A small service business might review an approved page outline, a first design, working contact forms, and a final prelaunch check at separate stages. Each milestone should identify the expected deliverable, who reviews it, and what happens if feedback is late. Milestones make dependencies visible: photographs and service descriptions may be needed before design can be finalized. They do not automatically establish that the work meets acceptance criteria. Unlike a broad development timeline, milestones describe specific moments when progress can be demonstrated and decisions recorded.
