Website Maintenance Mode

Website maintenance mode temporarily changes what visitors can access while major updates, troubleshooting, or repairs are underway. Instead of encountering broken pages, they may see a brief notice explaining that the site is unavailable. A landscaping company's website might use this during a risky platform migration, although many routine updates can happen without taking the site offline. Maintenance mode should be short, intentional, and tested; it is not the same as a permanent closure or a normal 404 error. Search engines and human visitors may interpret server responses differently, so the technical configuration matters. Important phone or contact details should remain available where practical.
