Website Design Retainer

A website design retainer is an ongoing agreement that reserves time or defined services for recurring website work. Instead of purchasing a completely new project for every small change, a cleaning company might use a retainer for seasonal page updates, design adjustments, and occasional landing page improvements. The agreement should explain what work is included, how requests are prioritized, whether unused hours carry forward, and how additional tasks are priced. A retainer does not necessarily include web hosting, emergency support, or unlimited revisions. Unlike a one-time website design contract, it establishes an ongoing working arrangement. Businesses should compare the expected workload with the actual recurring cost before committing.
