Trust Signals
Trust signals are details that help a visitor assess whether a business is credible and suitable for a job.
Trust signals are details that help a visitor assess whether a business is credible and suitable for a job. Examples include accurate contact information, real project photographs, clearly stated service areas, and customer feedback presented honestly. A handyman business might also explain relevant licensing or insurance information when it is accurate and appropriate to the work and location. These signals should offer evidence rather than vague claims such as 'most trusted in town.' A polished badge or large review number means little if visitors cannot verify it. Trust is built through consistency between what a website says and what a business actually provides.
