Service terms and conditions set out the rules under which a business provides its services. They may address customer responsibilities, payment timing, cancellations, access to the property, rescheduling, dispute handling, and other operational matters. A cleaning company might refer customers to these terms before confirming recurring appointments. The document is different from a service scope of work, which describes the particular tasks included in a job, and from a website privacy policy, which explains personal-data practices. Clear terms can reduce misunderstandings, but they must match what the business actually does and comply with applicable requirements. A generic online template is not a substitute for legal review when the circumstances warrant it.
