Service-Area Business (SAB)
A service-area business (SAB) serves customers at their locations rather than receiving them at a public-facing storefront.
A service-area business (SAB) serves customers at their locations rather than receiving them at a public-facing storefront. Many house cleaners, mobile repair providers, and lawn care companies work this way. In Google Business Profile, eligible service-area businesses generally specify where they serve customers and hide an address that customers cannot visit. A business with a staffed location open to customers may instead operate as a storefront or hybrid business under Google's rules. The service area describes the business's real operating coverage; it is not permission to create a separate profile for every nearby town. Eligibility and address requirements should always be checked against current Google guidance.
