Server-Side Rendering (SSR)
Server-side rendering, or SSR, is a way of producing a page's HTML on a server before sending it to a visitor's browser.
Server-side rendering, or SSR, is a way of producing a page's HTML on a server before sending it to a visitor's browser. Rather than relying entirely on the browser to assemble the initial page, the server generates content that can be displayed sooner in some situations. A service website might use SSR to show current appointment availability or personalized information. It is different from static site generation, where pages are often built ahead of requests. SSR can introduce server costs, caching requirements, and operational complexity. For a small service business, the useful question is whether SSR solves a specific site need—not whether the technology sounds more advanced.
