Search Console Video Indexing Report
The Search Console Video Indexing report describes video indexing outcomes for eligible indexed pages, not the total number of unique videos or views.
The Video Indexing report in Google Search Console summarizes how Google handles videos detected on indexed website pages. It distinguishes pages where Google indexed a video from indexed pages where it found a video but could not index one, and it gives reasons that may help diagnose problems. Google generally indexes a video for Search video features only when it is on an eligible indexed watch page whose main purpose is showing that video; a supplementary clip on an ordinary service article may not qualify. The report counts pages with video detection and indexing status, not every unique video across a site: several videos on one page or the same clip embedded on many pages can make the totals misleading. A repair company publishing demonstrations can use this report alongside URL Inspection, video indexing guidance, and page-indexing checks. The counts are not video views, engagement statistics, or customer conversions.
