Sitemaps Report (Google Search Console)
Google Search Console's Sitemaps report helps site owners review sitemaps submitted through the property and related processing information.
Google Search Console's Sitemaps report helps site owners review sitemaps submitted through the property and related processing information. It can indicate whether Google was able to fetch a submitted sitemap or encountered errors. This is useful after a redesign when a small business wants to confirm that a new XML sitemap is reachable and properly formatted. The report does not prove that every listed URL has been crawled, indexed, or ranked. Sitemap submission is a discovery aid, not a command to Google to include pages in Search. To investigate an individual page's status, use the relevant URL Inspection or indexing reports instead of assuming the sitemap alone settles the question.
