Search Console Removals Tool
The Search Console Removals tool lets verified site owners request that certain URLs be temporarily hidden from Google Search results.
The Search Console Removals tool lets verified property owners request that eligible URLs be temporarily hidden from Google Search results, and it provides an option to clear a search-result snippet in supported cases. A successful temporary URL removal generally lasts about six months; it does not delete the page, block Google from crawling it, or make its contents private. For a lasting removal, site owners must also take suitable action, such as serving a 404 or 410 response, requiring access credentials, or using an appropriate noindex directive that Google can crawl. Blocking a URL with robots.txt alone is not a reliable permanent removal method. If sensitive information was accidentally published, secure or remove it from the website itself rather than treating a Search Console request as a security control.
