Search Console Change of Address Tool

The Search Console Change of Address tool informs Google when a site moves from one domain or subdomain to another. It is intended to support a genuine site move after the new site and redirects are in place. A service business changing from an old company domain to a new one may need the tool as part of a broader migration plan. It is not intended for changing a few page paths within the same site or for an HTTP-to-HTTPS move. Owners should verify the required properties and follow Google's current migration instructions. The tool does not replace redirects or careful URL mapping.
