Revenue Per Job
Revenue per job is the average amount of sales revenue earned for each completed job during a specified period.
Revenue per job is the average amount of sales revenue earned for each completed job during a specified period. A cleaning company can calculate it by dividing recognized or consistently defined job revenue by the number of completed jobs in the same period. The number is useful for comparing job mixes, estimating capacity needs, or reviewing changes in pricing. It is not profit: labor, materials, travel, refunds, and other costs must be considered separately. It also differs from customer lifetime value, which covers the total relationship with a customer rather than a single assignment. A clear definition matters when jobs involve multiple visits, deposits, or bundled services.
