Quote Validity Period

A quote validity period is the length of time a service provider agrees to keep a quoted price or offer available under stated conditions. A landscaping estimate might remain open for a defined period because plant costs, material supply, and crew availability can change. The document should make clear when the period begins, when it ends, and what may require a revised estimate. A validity period does not mean the job has been accepted or the work is scheduled. It differs from payment terms, which govern when money is due. Businesses should communicate any conditions plainly rather than surprising customers after they decide to proceed.
