Privacy Preference Center

A privacy preference center gives visitors a place to review or change choices about certain data uses, such as optional analytics or advertising technologies. It may work alongside a cookie consent banner but is not simply the initial banner repeated on every page. A homeowner requesting a handyman estimate should be able to understand the choices without confusing wording or hidden controls. The exact consent and disclosure obligations depend on applicable laws and the technologies in use. A preference center must also work technically: a design that displays 'off' while the related tracking continues does not respect the stated choice. Businesses should document their actual data practices before writing the interface.
