A Pinterest Pin is a piece of content shared on Pinterest, commonly using an image or video with supporting text and, when available, a destination link. A landscaping company could create a Pin illustrating a real garden project and link to a relevant portfolio page. Pins may be discovered through feeds, search, or related content rather than only by existing followers. Accurate descriptions and permission to use the images are essential. A Pin is not the same as a Pinterest business account, which is the account type used to manage content and access business features.
