Organization Schema
Organization Schema is structured data using Schema.org’s Organization vocabulary to describe an organization and its identifying details in machine-readable form.
A publisher can add JSON-LD to a suitable page describing its business name, official URL, logo, contact details and other applicable attributes. Google recommends Organization markup on the home page or another single relevant organization page to help it interpret administrative details and distinguish similarly named entities. It is not necessary to add the same organization block to every individual glossary article.
Implementation should represent real, public information consistently. Use the most appropriate organization subtype, such as a local business subtype when justified, and include properties that actually apply. Test syntax and keep website, company profiles and structured data aligned when the business changes. An unsupported property or invented accreditation can mislead users and systems even when JSON-LD passes a parser.
Google says there are no required properties for its Organization guidance, but some fields can influence how a logo or business information appears in search surfaces. Markup is not a command to create a Knowledge Panel or guarantee rich results. This page covers Organization specifically rather than the existing broad Structured Data definition.
