Local Services Ads (LSAs)

Local Services Ads (LSAs) are Google's paid advertising placements for eligible service providers in supported categories and areas.

Local Services Ads (LSAs) are Google's paid placements for eligible local service providers in supported categories and locations. Customers may call, message, or, where available, book through the ad experience. Google generally charges for valid leads rather than ordinary search-ad clicks. Participating businesses must complete Google's applicable screening and verification process, which varies by location and category and may involve business registration, licensing, insurance, and background checks. Google also requires a public, verified Google Business Profile for Local Services advertisers. Some eligible advertisers can display a Google Verified badge, subject to Google's current requirements; a badge is not a guarantee of work quality or results. A handyman business should confirm the exact services and locations it can advertise, then monitor lead quality, charges, and response handling. LSAs are separate from unpaid local listings and do not guarantee booked jobs.
