LinkedIn Newsletter
A LinkedIn newsletter is a recurring series of LinkedIn articles that people can subscribe to and receive platform notifications about.
LinkedIn newsletters organize recurring long-form articles around a recognizable topic, author, or organization. Eligible authors and Pages can create an issue series and invite people to subscribe. LinkedIn’s help documentation explains that subscribers can receive in-app, push, and email notifications when new issues are published. Notification delivery and eligibility are subject to platform behavior and user settings, not a guarantee that every follower will see every issue.
For a B2B consultancy, a newsletter might share monthly procurement insights, case-study lessons, or regulatory explanations. Give each issue a specific takeaway, cite important claims, and keep a consistent editorial purpose. Measure subscriber engagement, relevant discussions, and downstream inquiries where attribution is possible. Do not equate subscribers with an owned mailing list: LinkedIn controls much of the distribution and subscriber experience.
A LinkedIn newsletter differs from an ordinary LinkedIn post and from an email newsletter sent using a company-controlled subscriber database. It should complement, rather than replace, an owned website archive or permission-based email strategy when long-term content control matters.
