Landing Page

A landing page is a page built around a particular visitor goal, often connected to a promotion, email, or advertising campaign. It might explain a seasonal gutter-cleaning offer and give people one clear way to request a quote. Unlike a homepage, which introduces an entire business, a campaign landing page usually limits competing paths so the offer stays easy to understand. Some teams also use 'landing page' to mean any page where a visit begins in analytics; that is a reporting definition, not necessarily a special page type. A useful landing page matches the promise made in the link that brought the visitor there.
