Google Verified Badge

Google Verified is a badge displayed on eligible Google Local Services Ads profiles after the advertiser completes applicable screening and verification checks.

Google Verified is Google's unified verification badge for eligible advertisers using Local Services Ads (LSAs). Introduced in October 2025, it replaced separate badges such as Google Guaranteed and Google Screened. The badge communicates that a business has completed specific checks; it does not certify the quality of every job or promise that a customer will be satisfied.

Google may show the badge on the LSA profile and in other relevant placements. The individual checks can vary by business category and location, so advertisers should examine their own eligibility requirements rather than assuming all companies undergo identical checks. Google states that the badge transition itself does not change LSA ranking.

The former Google Guarantee Money Back Guarantee was discontinued as part of the change. A business should not advertise the old financial protection as an ongoing benefit of Google Verified. The most useful way to explain the badge to a customer is as evidence of platform verification, not a performance warranty.
