Google Search Reconsideration Request

A Google Search reconsideration request is a request for Google to review a site after the owner has addressed issues behind an eligible manual action. It is typically submitted through Search Console as part of the manual-action resolution process. A business should document what went wrong, remove or correct violating practices, and explain the remediation honestly. Submitting a request does not guarantee that a manual action will be revoked or that rankings will return to previous levels. A reconsideration request is not a general tool for appealing an ordinary ranking decline, algorithm change, or low-traffic page. The applicable process depends on Google's current manual-action guidance.
