Google Search Console Request Indexing is an option in URL Inspection that lets an authorized site owner ask Google to recrawl an individual URL. It is useful after correcting an important service page or publishing a new page that Google has not visited. The request enters Google's systems; it does not promise immediate crawling, indexing, or improved rankings. Repeated requests for the same unchanged URL do not force faster results, and submission limits apply. Before using it, check that the URL is accessible, canonical as intended, and not blocked from indexing. For many URLs, a maintained XML sitemap is usually more practical.
