A Google Maps business pin marks a place associated with a business or listing on the map. For a customer-facing storefront, the displayed location can help visitors find the entrance and plan a trip. For a service-area business that visits customers rather than receiving them at an address, Google Business Profile has separate rules about whether a street address should be publicly shown.
