Google Business Profile Video Verification

Google Business Profile video verification is a live, unedited recording process Google may use to confirm an operator legitimately represents a business.

Google Business Profile video verification is an identity and business-operation check that Google may offer to a storefront, service-area, or hybrid business. The recording is not the short promotional video that businesses can add to a profile's media gallery. When Google requests this method, its current instructions require one continuous, unique, unedited video at least 30 seconds long, recorded live and uploaded from a mobile device through the Business Profile workflow. Previously recorded footage cannot simply be uploaded later. The business may need to show its location or service area, evidence that it operates legitimately, and signs of authority to represent it; the exact evidence depends on business type. A lawn care contractor may demonstrate work equipment or other permitted operating evidence without inventing a storefront. Do not expose tax numbers, personal documents, or private information in the footage. Google determines the available method and reviews the submission; completion does not guarantee approval or higher local rankings.
