Google Business Profile Suggested Edits

Google Business Profile suggested edits are proposed changes to profile information that Google may review, notify owners about, or apply automatically.

Google Business Profile suggested edits are changes proposed by users or other sources to business information displayed on Google Search and Maps. Google also updates profile information using sources such as licensed content and the business's own website. For certain user-suggested edits that require review, the profile owner may receive an email or in-product notice and have four days to accept or reject the suggestion. If there is no response, Google may publish an edit supported by other public information; Google can also make some policy-related changes without a prior review opportunity. Owners should regularly check the profile editor and correct inaccurate hours, address details, categories, or other information. A suggested edit is not the same as granting account access to another person. Monitoring and responding promptly helps maintain accurate details but cannot guarantee that Google will always use the owner's preferred information.
