Google Ads Search Terms Report

The Google Ads Search Terms report shows eligible searches that triggered an advertiser's ads, helping explain how actual search language relates to the campaign's selected keywords.

The Google Ads Search Terms report shows eligible searches that triggered an advertiser's ads, helping explain how actual search language relates to the campaign's selected keywords. A landscaping business might discover irrelevant terms that suggest a negative keyword or identify demand for a service it genuinely offers. The report is not identical to the Search Console queries report, which deals with organic Google Search performance. Privacy thresholds and reporting rules can prevent some low-activity searches from appearing individually. Reviewing the report helps improve relevance, but the presence of a query does not prove it produced a qualified lead or sale.
