Session Key Event Rate (GA4)
Session key event rate in GA4 is the percentage of sessions in which at least one key event occurred.
Session key event rate in GA4 is the percentage of sessions in which at least one key event occurred. If a service website designates a qualified quote-request submission as a key event, this metric can show the share of sessions containing that action. It is not the same as engagement rate, which measures the share of engaged sessions, or user key event rate, which uses users rather than sessions. A visitor can trigger multiple events within one session, but that session still counts once for this rate. Review which events are marked as key events before using the figure to assess performance.
