GA4 Event Parameter

A GA4 event parameter is an additional piece of information sent with an event in Google Analytics 4. The event records an action; its parameters describe details about that action, such as the label of a clicked element or the type of form submitted. For a cleaning website, a properly configured request event might carry a service category without transmitting a customer's name or message. Some parameters are collected automatically or predefined, while others can be customized. Sending a parameter does not automatically make it available in every standard report. A custom dimension may need to be defined for certain reporting uses. Avoid collecting personally identifiable information in Analytics event parameters.
