Form Field Grouping

Form field grouping organizes related controls under a shared description so users can understand how the questions fit together. A service estimate form may group property information separately from contact details, or present related checkboxes under one question. In HTML, fieldset and legend elements can express this relationship for many common controls, helping keyboard and screen reader users as well as sighted visitors. Grouping differs from assigning an accessible label to each individual field; both can be needed. Too many nested groups can make a short form harder to use, so the structure should reflect real decisions customers are making rather than every visual design boundary.
