Form Duplicate Submission Prevention
Form duplicate submission prevention reduces the chance that one customer action creates several identical enquiries or bookings.
Form duplicate submission prevention reduces the chance that one customer action creates several identical enquiries or bookings. A visitor might tap a submit button twice because a connection is slow, or refresh after an uncertain confirmation. Helpful safeguards include disabling repeated actions temporarily, showing progress, and checking duplicates on the server where appropriate. The form should still provide an accessible response and a safe recovery path if submission fails. This is different from ordinary field validation, which checks whether entered values meet requirements. A prevention mechanism should not silently discard legitimate follow-up messages or prevent customers from correcting an earlier request.
