Form Confirmation Message
A form confirmation message appears after a visitor successfully submits information.
A form confirmation message appears after a visitor successfully submits information. Its main job is to confirm what happened and explain any realistic next step. After a quote request, a handyman website might state that the request was received and clarify whether the customer should expect an email or phone call. A confirmation should not claim that an appointment is booked unless the system actually reserved one. It differs from form validation, which detects problems before submission, and from an error message, which explains something that went wrong. Clear confirmation reduces uncertainty and can keep people from sending duplicate requests.
