Facebook Recommendations

Facebook Recommendations let people share business experiences and recommendations on eligible Facebook Pages through the Page's reviews experience. A cleaning company may receive public customer feedback that prospective customers can view, but this is a different product and policy environment from Google Business Profile reviews. A Page administrator can control whether others may view and leave recommendations using the Page's reviews-related settings. According to Facebook's Help Center, switching Recommendations off disables them and removes the rating and reviews from the Page's public display. Businesses should not fabricate feedback or pressure customers to express a particular view. Before changing Page settings, review the current interface and consider the visibility consequences. Recommendation content, display and rating behavior may change; do not assume a traditional five-star review workflow or guaranteed search visibility.
