Disavow Links Tool
Google's Disavow Links Tool lets eligible site owners ask Google to disregard specified backlinks when evaluating their website.
Google's Disavow Links Tool lets eligible site owners ask Google to disregard specified backlinks when evaluating their website. It is an advanced option intended for particular problems involving substantial artificial or spammy links, especially where a manual action has occurred or is likely. Google says most sites do not need it because its systems can usually assess links without extra instructions. A small landscaping website should not upload a disavow file merely because an unfamiliar directory links to it. Incorrect use can harm search performance, and trying to remove problematic links directly may be appropriate first. This tool is not routine link cleanup or an ordinary backlink report.
