A customer testimonial is a statement from a client describing their experience with a business. It may be presented as a quotation, written endorsement, or approved video on the company's website. Testimonials can help prospective customers understand what working with a provider felt like, but they need to be genuine, accurate, and used with appropriate permission. A testimonial selected for a company website is not identical to an online review posted on an independent platform, even if both reflect customer feedback. Avoid editing a customer's words in a way that changes their meaning, and never invent a quote to fill an empty page.
