CSS

CSS stands for Cascading Style Sheets.

CSS stands for Cascading Style Sheets. It tells a browser how HTML content should look, including colors, type sizes, spacing, borders, and many layout behaviors. A lawn care website can use shared CSS rules to keep every service page's buttons and headings consistent. CSS also helps pages adapt to smaller screens through responsive rules. It is not a substitute for well-structured HTML or clearly written content; each plays a different role. If a page looks correct on a laptop but cramped on a phone, CSS may be part of the problem, though images and content decisions can matter too.
