Core Web Vitals

Core Web Vitals are a set of Google-defined measures used to assess important aspects of a page's real-world experience.

Core Web Vitals are a set of Google-defined measures used to assess important aspects of a page's real-world experience. Largest Contentful Paint (LCP) relates to loading performance, Interaction to Next Paint (INP) to responsiveness, and Cumulative Layout Shift (CLS) to unexpected visual movement. These metrics complement broader page-speed and usability checks rather than replacing them. A home service site may feel frustrating if a large photo takes too long to appear or if a contact button shifts while loading. Results vary by device, connection, and visitor, so field data and diagnostic tests serve different purposes. Good scores are useful goals but do not guarantee search rankings or customer inquiries.
