Content Refresh
A content refresh is a deliberate update to an existing page to make its information more accurate, useful, or complete.
A content refresh is a deliberate update to an existing page to make its information more accurate, useful, or complete. A lawn service might revise seasonal availability, clarify an outdated service description, replace old project images, or answer questions customers now ask. A refresh is not simply changing the publication date or swapping a few adjectives to appear current. Before editing, check whether the page still serves the right audience and whether the information has actually changed. A content audit helps identify which pages need attention; the refresh is the follow-up work on a particular page. Keep URL changes to a minimum unless there is a clear reason.
