Content Readability Score
A content readability score is a calculated estimate of how easy a passage may be to read, often based on sentence length, word length, or similar text features.
A content readability score is a calculated estimate of how easy a passage may be to read, often based on sentence length, word length, or similar text features. An owner rewriting a service description might use the score to notice unnecessarily dense language. However, no single score measures accuracy, empathy, accessibility, or whether a customer understands the actual service. Familiar trade terms sometimes matter more than artificially short words. Readability scores are diagnostic aids; human editing, clear structure, and testing with real readers remain important. This metric is narrower than readability as an overall writing quality.
