Content Audit
A content audit is a structured review of material a business has already published.
A content audit is a structured review of material a business has already published. It asks whether each page is accurate, useful, current, and still needed. A cleaning company might discover outdated service descriptions, two pages answering the same question, or a pricing explanation that no longer matches how estimates work. An audit typically records URLs, topics, owners, issues, and a proposed action such as keep, revise, combine, or remove. Analytics can provide clues, but low traffic alone is not enough reason to delete a useful page. Content auditing differs from drafting a new content brief: the audit evaluates what exists before deciding what should change.
