Competitor Keyword Gap
A competitor keyword gap is a difference between search terms for which competing websites appear and terms for which your own site has little or no visibility.
A competitor keyword gap is a difference between search terms for which competing websites appear and terms for which your own site has little or no visibility. A lawn care company might discover that nearby competitors have useful content about seasonal aeration while its site does not explain that service. This is a search-oriented comparison, narrower than a general content gap analysis. Tool estimates and ranking snapshots are not the same as verified demand or proof of a missed sale. The best response is to check whether the topic matches real services and customer questions, then create useful information where a legitimate gap exists—not publish imitation pages for every phrase competitors rank for.
