Careers Page

A careers page is a website section that explains job opportunities, workplace expectations, and how candidates can apply to an organization.

A careers page is the public hiring destination on an employer's website. It may include current openings, role requirements, work locations, compensation information where appropriate, company culture, benefits, accessibility information, and application instructions. For a small service business, it can also explain licensing expectations, seasonal schedules, travel between customer locations, and the tools or training provided.

A useful page answers the questions a candidate needs to decide whether the role fits. Keep positions accurate, show whether applications are open, identify the application route, and make contact and forms usable on a phone. Avoid vague promises such as 'unlimited earning potential' without an explanation of how pay works. If jobs are posted individually, distinguish the general careers hub from a specific job-detail page so old vacancy URLs do not quietly imply that a role remains open.

Careers content serves recruitment rather than direct customer lead generation. Its success can be assessed through qualified applications, completion rates, and applicant questions, not simply website visits. If applicant information is collected, specify why it is needed and apply an appropriate retention and privacy process. Publishing a careers page does not by itself create eligibility for Google job search features.
