Bing Places for Business

Bing Places for Business is Microsoft's free service for claiming or adding eligible business listings and managing information presented in Bing search and map experiences. In October 2025 Microsoft introduced a redesigned Bing Places experience at bing.com/forbusiness, replacing the older bingplaces.com management destination while retaining the Bing Places for Business name. Eligible businesses can review their contact details, website, category, opening hours, and location or service-area information as supported by their market and listing type. A local handyman company without a customer-facing shop should use the platform's service-area business rules rather than invent a public storefront. Listing accuracy helps customers find consistent details beyond Google, but approval, placement, clicks, and leads are never guaranteed. Bing Places is distinct from Google Business Profile; synchronizing or importing information does not mean that every other directory will automatically remain correct.
