Ad Frequency
Ad frequency expresses how many times, on average, an ad was shown to each person reached over a defined period.
Ad frequency expresses how many times, on average, an ad was shown to each person reached over a defined period. If one campaign records repeated views from the same people, frequency may rise even when reach stays relatively steady. For a local lawn care promotion, the figure can help identify whether a limited audience is seeing the same creative many times. It is not the same as impressions, which count total ad displays, or reach, which estimates unique people. Higher frequency is not automatically better or worse; interpret it with campaign objectives, creative, audience size, and actual response.
