Accessibility Statement

An accessibility statement tells visitors what an organization is doing to make its website accessible and how to report barriers.

An accessibility statement tells visitors what an organization is doing to make its website accessible and how to report barriers. It commonly identifies the standards being considered, describes known limitations, and provides a practical contact method for help or feedback. A cleaning business might use one to explain how customers can request booking assistance if an online form is difficult to use. The statement should reflect actual testing and practices, not copy a generic promise that every feature works for every person. Publishing a statement does not itself establish WCAG conformance or replace accessibility improvements. Laws and required wording can vary, so any legal compliance question deserves separate qualified review.
