Accessibility Audit
An accessibility audit evaluates how well a website can be used by people with different disabilities and assistive technologies.
An accessibility audit evaluates how well a website can be used by people with different disabilities and assistive technologies. Reviewers may inspect heading structure, keyboard operation, form labels, focus behavior, text contrast, and image alternatives. Automated tools can flag certain errors, but human testing is needed for issues such as whether instructions make sense or a form remains usable with a keyboard. A small business can use the findings to prioritize changes to its most important pages and interactions. Website accessibility describes the broader goal; an audit is an assessment of the current implementation. An audit alone does not make a site accessible or certify compliance with every applicable law.
